Hi my name is Scott i have a 87 Cherokee pioneer with a coolant leak . I see drips from the left engine mount and on the back of the oil pan . No leaks in hoses or water pump .Does anyone have any ideas where this leak could be coming from ?????????? Thanks for any kind of help.

You have a renix model engine which has a closed cooling system. Is the purging tank (or whatever its called, on the passenger side of the firewall) cracked or anything?

 

I would love to replace the cat, but I have about $30 in my bank account. So I'm trying to keep it as cheap as possible.

 

I wanna put a cherry bomb glass pack on my xj. The inlet and outlet for the glass pack are 2.25". What size is my stock exhaust and do I need to weld or can I just use pipe clamps and connectors?

 

If you clamp it, it might leak and sound like ****. So just weld it. And i think the pipes are 2.25

 

I know that situation all to well. Lol.

I got mine for like $60 from performance curve. They can be had cheaper from amazon i know but i didnt know the pipe size.

 

You can buy brand new clamps and try getting it super duper ultra mega tight, and weld it later.

 

But when you clamp it, its knarls the pipe and its super hard to separate because of the way it pinches down on itself
