Put it for $4k and let someone talk you down.

There is someone out there that is looking for that exact model and will pay asking price.

I'm a good example. I knew I wanted a 4dr XJ. I found mine on Craiglist and paid $3,900. Too some, it's too much, it was exactly what I wanted, so I paid it.

The NP231 was specced with Dexron, Mercon, and ATF+4 as they were built by NPG/NVG for many companies and approved for their own ATFs. The 231 is very basic and doesn't have any real special requirements. They also do well on 5W30 but I wouldn't recommend mixing it.

1999 2 door 5 speed! Cool. Depends on damage and rust.

Damage is being taken care of. Rust isn't a problem.

Maryland requires front plates...I just don't put mine on.

I zip tied it to the grille on the XJ, but I have Historic tags on the Comanche and the Camaro, and no front mounting provision. I haven't had a problem yet, but I have the plate in case I ever get in trouble.

There ya go.
One thing I've noticed about selling stuff on CL. If you list every single detail of what you've done, it helps sell it. I do that with the bikes I build.

Uhh well today I went wheeling all day, trailered it home and once I got In to start it and it would start barely then die. It finally started by laying on the gas for like a minute or too. What can cause that? I just changed the fuel filter yesterday if that would effect anything.

New battery and alternator. So that leaves tos and iac. Well I've been having high idle when I put it in park. Is this the iac?
