Should I use a little high-temp rtv to seal the edges?
They don't have to be perfect.

I grounded mine way down on my 86. On my '87 I installed bushwacker flares and left it. It is not really noticeable with the flares on it.

I've got a high pitched whine/squeal coming somewhere from the engine bay. It's not the belt and its only when I'm accelerating hard. Could be the fan clutch but last I checked it was tight. 98, I6, AW4

OK. You do not by any chance no what the other end of the hose hooked up to do you? It looks liked it has been burned off from the exhaust or something.
If it is not one thing it is another.

Check that the fan isn't hitting the fan shroud. Mine did this and drove me crazy. The torque of the engine under acceleration will move the fan, and if the shroud isn't in the notches below just right it'll hit.

It hooks to nothing. Just a drain tube.

Ok, I was just wondering, because there is a fender bolt there.

I need a breather tube fitting for my D30... Where do i find one? Like the physical piece that threads into the axle housing.

I have shackles that are about 5.25" long from eye of bushing to center of bottom bolt. How much lift would that be at a 45 degree angle?

That could be it. I just went out, put it in drive, stood on the brakes and revved to 1500 and as the motor reached its upmost motion from the motor mounts I heard the squeal. It's hard to pinpoint but with my head under the hood it sounded more like it was coming from underneath the VC

It's a shot. Mine fixed its self when it blew into about ten pieces.

Just use a brass barb with male threads.
