Thanks, guys. A lot of sites are blocked at work, and I had to send in my laptop under warranty. Back to using the phone for everything, and it sucks.

Does installing a new track bar and bracket mess up alignment, and does RE adjusting the steering wheel mess with the alignment? Stock steering if that matters.

Adjust steering wheel through drag link after everything else is done. That won't change anything else. The track bar install will probably misalign your front end. Consider that you're installing it because you shifted your entire setup. When you use the new trackbar to put it back in the right place horizontally, you'll need to readjust.

I wouldn't think it would. You're just moving the axle side to side.

You can reposition the steering wheel all day long and it won't affect alignment.

The axle is moving side to side, but the suspension is moving in an arc due to the track bar attachment.

The axle was centered, I RE drilled the hole. But I had some bump steer, so I put on an adjustable rubicon express double shear track bar as bracket and switched back to the original bouncing hole. How do measure toe? That are good reference points?

If it was centered and aligned properly before, it should be the same...as long as your new TB eye-to-eye length is the same as the old setup. If the TB angle is much different, that could be an issue, but it would depend on your specific setup.

It's not the same length, but the old track bar was boved over .75 of an inch with a new hole at the axle end.

It's what I've been doing so far. Don't forget that you'll need to be able to get stuff out for maintenance and repairs , like your brake master cyl.

Good point, thanks. I found 3in spectre flexable tubing at the parts store along with plastic mount brackets that the tube would slip over then Id secure it with a hose clamp. I would use rtv to seal the plastic mount to the firewall and also to the airbox.
