The 10" drum has ribs along the outside of the drum, the 9" drum is smooth.
You very likely have the 9" drums.
From what I can find:
Bore Size......Drum Size......ABS?
13/16".............9"..............No
3/4"................9"............. Yes
7/8"...............10"..............No

The bore size is directly related to the drum size. If you give them the drum size they should be able to come up with the right cylinder for it.

yes, in order to remove the whole dash u have to remove the steering column, before u do that u need to disconnect the battery and wait 5-10 minutes before disconnecting the airbag control module. the whole dash has to come out to reach the evaperator core and heater core, so i imagine the dash must come out to reach the defrost doors. it is estimated to take 4 hours to disassemble and about the same to reinstall. it's not hard there is just alot of screws u don't wanna lose or mix up. hope this helps.
I found this out by mistake but a ZJ with the auto trans, Dana35 rear end and inline 6 has the exact same rear driveshaft as an XJ with an AX-15. Should be MUCH easier to find than one out of a 5spd. If you can't find one, my local JY has several and I'd be more than happy to go get one for you. The one thing to note is you'll have to change the yoke as the ZJs and XJs use different ones.
Thanks. A few more question though.
How much of the steering column needs to be disassembled to get it out? The TSM seems to indicate it almost needs to be stripped bare. Will it be obvious when I get there?
Does it really take two people to get the dash out and back in as the TSM indicates? Is it the weight or bulk that is the big issue needing two people?

Torx bolt hell!! Is the dealer the only place to get the torx head bolts that hold the door latch thing in? I pulled one out and nobody carries anything like it... Guess I'll go to the wrecking yards?

Forget it. I went to my local wrecking yard, paid $2.00 admission and found some on a wrecked xj. Came out, the guys looked at my 3 torx bolts and said, "see ya later". Sweet!

The first tire, 235x70% = 164.5 mm sidewall height = 6.48",
9.251 inches wide tread;
The second tire, 225x75% = 168.75 mm sidewall height = 6.64",
8.86 inches wide tread.
To answer your question, look at the numbers. You'd get a slightly taller, slightly narrower tire.
Hope that helps.

I am an extreme newbie so try and handle this question if its stupid
I have this noise coming from my engine, from what I can tell when I idle. The best way to descibe the noise is to compare it to an old bicycle being ridden with no oil on gears/chain, but in pulses. I belive this noise to be coming from my fan, as first off thats where I traced the sound to, second when the engine revs up the noise disapears, and third it seems as if my fan is not spinning true (you can see it wobble a bit at the base of the blades.)
I have a '97 Grand Limited, and I believe the fan is mechanical as it gets its power from the belt. My belt is new, and not loose. As well, unless its bad timing, I have noticed this noise since cold weather smashed my city...right now its -21f without wind chill.
My friend was saying its simply a matter of tightening bolts? However, I do not believe it to be this simple as I heard somthing about a fan clutch which quite frankly I know nothing of.
Any help would be appreciated as from what I understand, fan "issues" can be dangerous due to the speed they spin. I really dont feel like paying my jeep dealer $120 to quess what this is, and then make me fix a bunch of other ***** not needed.
Thanks for any help in advance!
