Every time I do mine I pull the lower radiator hose, drain, replace with water, let circulate, drain as needed until clean then add pure antifreeze...

The pump is going on a new tank, any tips on how maybe I can clean it out? there is quite a bit of sediment on the inside of the tank and on the filter of the pump. Any help appreciated.
If you haven't installed it, I would just wash it out with the water hose and let it dry. Then splash some gas in it. That's how we've always did it, but there might be a better way to do it for all I know. But I don't even know how the filler neck comes off.. never cleaned the tank on an xj. You'd need to get the neck off at least to the prefilter screen if it has one.

Hey I couldn't figure out the new thread deal...but here goes. Having some little leak on the clutch Master cylinder ( 87 cherokee )And my mechanic guy ( I no longer crawl under cars..mostly cuz all we have is dirt) Said he couldn't fix it as it was some weird master cylinder...Napco /japan...said we would have to replace the whole system cuz he couldn't find any replacement parts that would match up. Any body know about this part and or replacement or even rebuild kit? I'm off to search for this part. Really don't want to redo the whole system...this is a thrashed ranch vehicle...if somethings stuck...get the jeep...not the Dodge not the Ranger not the tractor..LOL

And btw... forgot to add this. I never seen it in any write up i seen on the cowl intake, but DO NOT get a spectre cone filter. They are too big around to fit in the biggest hole you can cut in the cowl. Get a K&N. Ask me how i know...

Default Front Defroster, AC compresser

On my 96 XJ the AC compressor kicks on when the front defroster is on.
It blows hot like it's supposed to just wondering why the compressor is running.
Is this normal or is there a wire crossed somewhere?

Here's a link to autozone for the straight six.

four cylinder:

so I would find a different mechanic.

How often do you dive head first into your shackle? I personally don't do it often enough to worry about that bolt.

I thought the bumpers were the same, but with different trim. I may be wrong.
