I've been using an air hammer on annoying exhaust lately works good. Lol

You could always try letting the exhaust get nice n warm then beat on it. If you're not reusing it.

And where do you apply this air hammer? At the clamp. No matter what when you use a exhaust clamp it indents the outer, and inside tube.

Wedge it in between what ever two pieces need pulled apart. It usually only tears up the top piece.

Depends on how delicate you are. I usually only tear up the top piece (whatever overlaps on top) the bottom only gets scraped.

Shouldn't you only tear up whats going to be scraped?

I'd say so.

You could push down instead of up probably would do the opposite. I wouldn't try it on anything you'd want to save though. Lol

Wasn't really thinking, guess my cat pipe sits underneath my muffler.

Anyways.

Could always warm it up and give the muff(ler) a love tap... haha.

I use a 4 1/2" angle grinder with a metal cutting disc. More sparks, but easier to control.

You never beat bolts with a hammer. Will damage the bolt and threads 100% of the time. Use a dead blow, or a puller you can rent from autozone. If none of that works, then you can beat w a hammer cus then they are junk anyway.

Anyone know If a 2001 TJ transmission mount will work on a 2001 xj? Look the same in the pics, and I can get the TJ one on my NAPA account but for some reason they don't list one for an XJ

NAPA up here lists XJ transmission mount for my 1999 as BKP 6201204 but 6201579 for 1998 and 2000 TJ... I'm going to guess that unless they're actually the same part, no.

Heater core clogged up? I disconnect the long hoses going to the firewall and use my air compressor to gently blow whatever radiator fluid and gunk that may be in there. Then pour in an entire bottle of CLR. Let it soak for 20min, then flush it out with water and your air compressor. This saved me from having to change out my heatercore and my heat blows great now.
