Default Broken Bolts. Need Help!

so I'm replacing my rear shocks and when I went to unscrew the bolts for the upper shock hardware the bolts snapped. I can't drill them out or remove them and I don't know what to do.

This happens a lot. Punch them out with a drift and big hammer, then snake new bolts down through the top. There is a cutout nearby you should be able to fish new bolts through.

I am sure the vast majority of forum members will disagree with my solution but after reading all the posts about pounding the broken bolts out with a hammer and punch and laying under my Jeep banging the Hell out of them with a maul and getting nothing but a face full of dirt and rust for my efforts here's what I did... Took a drill and drilled up exactly between the 2 bolts through the floors (Remember that, "floors") to mark where I was. Lifted up the carpet in the rear. Grabbed the sawz-all and cut a square out around each drilled hole. Took same Saw-All and cut the heads off the bolts sitting comfortably in the hatch area and easily drove the bolts out from above with one small hit. The rest is self explanatory. The only thing to note is when I used the Sawz-all to cut thru the top floor I did not cut into the second level of flooring.
