you will need shafts that hold the factory 297 ujoints. all D30 axles 1995-2001 have them. pull them from the junk yard and load them up with spicer 760's. then keep the old shafts as spares already loaded with ujoints. here is exactly how to do the upgrade https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f46/bl...2/#post2058717

I have a friend that works for Spicer and they are working on Chrom-Moly shafts...supposed to get a sample set in the next few months

Theres a vendor here selling 4340 chromoly shafts for $375 for both sides I believe with 760 u joints. Thinking of picking it up.
