1995 Cherokee Trouble Codes????
Hi guys, just bought my first Jeep and really happy with it so far, I'm still getting spooled up on everything JEEP and no stranger to forums but i'm having trouble finding a solid answer on 1995 Cherokee trouble codes.
So I purchased and ALLDATADIY for my '95 and in there it has a whole list of trouble codes but when I search the forums they have a completely different list of Trouble codes. For example I was pulling
12- Forums= battery disconnected - AllData= ECT Sensor voltage High
Now I did have the battery disconnected but I also had my temp gauge not working which I learned that the sensor (broke it during valve cover gasket replacement) is located on the head towards the rear of the engine and not on the tstat housing. But I replaced both sensors and checked the wires for the tstat housing sensor.
22- Forums= Coolant sensor signal out of range - AllData= Injector #4 Control Circuit
Now for this I followd the AllData troubleshooting and all the wires check good but the injector metered @ 16.04 ohms (AllData specifies 10-16ohms) just out of tolerance I can feel it firing and the engine runs okay but I ended up ordering new injectors, that should show up tomorrow (4 hole upgraded). But this code according to the forums may be linked to the coolant temp sensor above but my injector meters bad so what do i do.
55- End of Codes
So currently i'm only pulling 12, which i just had the battery disconnected, and ive fixed my temp gauge. I dont know which one to follow AllData which I paid for or the years of experience from the members of the forums. Is there something weird with the '95s since the following year was supposed to be the start of OBD2? Thank you for your time and any insight on this.

Remove negative battery cable for 15 minutes at least clear codes. Drive and recheck could just be stored old code.

Code 12 means that the battery has been disconnected at some point with in the last 50 starts. Therefore you will always have a Code 12 after the battery has been disconnected until you have started your Jeep up at least 50 times.
Focus your attention on code 22

The codes in the AllData list definitely do not apply to 1995 Cherokees.
This is my first post. I only signed up a few hours ago although I have often consulted the forum in the last few years. I have found it very useful.
The first question I have is: Where on the forum pages can I post my own questions? This is the first page I have found where I can type something in.

The Grand Cherokee forum is at https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f5/
For a quick answer though, maybe lookup the part number on https://www.rockauto.com. The answer will depend on which engine you're talking about.
