Lightbulb New brain?

just got the tax returns in, and i was looking around online at new brains for my Cherokee. I thought i would ask the 'experts' before making any rash decisions myself. I see some claiming to both increase performance, and boost gas mileage by at least 15 mpg!!! ok, i might be exaggerating a little, but some of the claims have seemed to be a bit outlandish. i guess what i am really wondering is, have any of you installed new aftermarket computers, and who's is the best?! i am actually happy with the amount of power i get from my jeep, i wouldn't want it diminished, but could go for some more mpg, i'm willing to spend a couple hundred bucks to see this happen! Thanks in advance for any input!

Who put a stroker in it? The factory sure didn't.

Ha... that's a good one. Rumors are wrong. Police package did not include a stroker.

More like suspension differences, vinyl mats, idle-up switch, column shift, bench seat. That kind of stuff.

hmm, ok, this jeep seems to get worse gas mileage than my 93 i used to have, but that could be a number of things... no column shift, no front bench seat, not sure what an idle up shift is... there is a switch and holes for the spot lights, but other than that, i really dont see any other modifications...

oh, also, no roof rack, not even any holes for where a roof rack has previously been attached, i gotta say, jeeps look a little goofy with nothing on the roof
