Default Axle looks loose

I need to pick some brains...

I have a 1988 jeep Cherokee... with the dana 35.

Im wondering can the center pin that goes from the axle side into the leaf springs be replaced easily? Im pretty sure that's the reason why the axle is moving and I need to get ready for a long drive to Texas.

Ive replaced most of the u botls that hold the axle... so now what???

If talking about the leaf spring center bolt, then yes. It may be rusted in really good but the are replaceable in theory.

is that the same bolt that goes through the mounting plate to screw the u bolts on it?

and its what basically raising the body high enough to get the axle loose?
