I'm glad you posted up the link in there. It might motivate him to touch base with his customers and start filling those cancel requests.
Funny enough, I found him by chance. I was browsing forums on tapatalk and checked out off-camber.com. The first place I went to was the General 4x4 section and there was a XJ thread at the top, so I clicked on it. That's when I saw his name and was like WTF?
He has no time to update people, return emails/calls/texts, or visit our forum to keep people updated, but somehow has time to log on there to post and time to wheel... but hey guys, you're all SOL, the man is busy, ya know?

I'm surprised he hasn't posted anything yet.

I found off-camber previously when I was googling around for info on FST, but at that time there weren't any recent posts by him that I could find.

Seems like a good enough site, one of the admins PM'd me asking for a link to the thread I was talking about (he must have skimmed over it by mistake) but he was very polite!

It's frustrating having your money "in jail" and no updates when you're going to get your product. Waiting over a month and still no word after requesting your order be cancelled has to suck big time. I have the feeling the money isn't there to be refunded.

I'm going through the "Best Looking Buggies" thread on there right now, lol. I like finding other forums I can add to tapatalk when the ones I usually use are slow. I was happy to hear they were open to hearing from people who are having issues.

I just sent a text to him asking for an update to order AB-1187, placed on December 7th. It's 6:05 his time, so I don't expect to hear anything till tomorrow. It's been a month since I got the mass email from him saying my order was on hold.
Do we have any idea of the last person to receive their lights and what their order number was? He hasn't been on here since December, and hasn't posted anything to his Facebook page since last October.
But as others have pointed out, he has time to spend on other forums and go wheeling.
If this goes for much longer without any communication from him, I'm suggesting a group lawsuit. Either that, or I may have to make a trip to Washington and pay a personal visit to his shop. At this point, it's almost worth the several hundred dollars for a plane ticket and rental car just for the satisfaction of parking my solid 5' 11" 260 pound frame in front of him and giving him a piece of my mind.
Here is the idiot's Facebook page. I noticed that it shows him working at a new place as of January. People are making complaint posts on his page. I also found numerous threads of complaints about terrible service and long wait times on other sites going back to 2011. Wish I'd have checked up on him first.

Since he has no time to text people, he may have time to write you on their forum.

Let me put it this way, he is totally ignoring this site. The people on that forum live near him, wheel with him, see him, etc. They might be able to help him get his act together a little better than we can. Sometimes it takes a good friend to ask you "WTF are you doing" to get your **** together.

Just posted the following on off camber at the link emptypockets provided:
I just joined this site to back up what tssguy123 had to say, as if the thread he linked to isn't enough.
Kris, I can tell you that I never got an email last week, and nobody else at cherokeeforum.com has reported getting an email. I placed my order on December 7th. The last I heard anything from you was a mass email you sent out on January 27th, and it had no real info for anyone; just talk of how backed up your were and that we would be getting our orders. That was a month ago and not a peep since. You haven't been on www.cherokeeforum since December 28th. You haven't posted to your company's Facebook page in months. You've got people that have tracked you down to your personal Facebook page trying to get ANY response out of you.
If you read the thread, many of us, including me, spent a long time giving you the benefit of the doubt. For way too long. The worst part about all of this is that you could have avoided nearly all the negative comments, bad press, and lost sales if you had just taken a few moments once a week to COMMUNICATE! People weren't originally p'd about the wait or the quality of the product. It was the complete and total lack of communication!! And that wouldn't have cost you a single dime to produce to your customers! You sir, have a LOT to learn about running a business. A business is nothing without its customers, and you have shown ample skill in completely ignoring and alienating yours. You had a terrific opportunity to produce a great product for a popular vehicle, sell it to a very large group of folks, and establish a solid reputation among the Cherokee owners. Instead, you COMPLETETLY and TOTALLY blew it! So freaking sad because we nearly all would have stood behind you if you had just kept us apprised of what was going on on a regular basis. You had a lot of people pulling for you, defending you, and trying to rationalize away the glaring lack of professionalism. That good-will has now all but vanished. It's not like this was a $20 item. People put down $200-$250 each for these items, and have gotten nothing for it so far.
I'm sorry you don't get off of work till 8 at night. But that's not our freaking problem. It's yours, and maybe you should have thought about how you were going to manage this before screwing the pooch big time. You need to man-up to the mess you've created. I work 55 hours a week at my main job and do other IT work on the side. Sometimes that means I have to stay up all night or work all weekend to keep my commitments to the customers of my side business, but that's what I do. It's called INTEGRITY.
It has reached a point that there is now talk of lawsuits. Unless you want to end up in an even bigger pile of S**T than what you're already in, I STRONGLY suggest you eat a little crow, get on the forums and apologize, and either refund money or get people their product. As of right now, you've got roughly 50 people on a site who will be sure to warn others against doing business with you at every opportunity. All because you couldn't be bothered to take a 5 minutes week and posts some freaking updates.
Low class, man. Low class...
What will be really telling is not just how you choose to deal with this going forward, but specifically how you choose to deal with those of us that have called you out in a public forum. This is your last chance to save face, so I'd think long and hard about how best to handle this.

I've tried contacting him every way imaginable (email, his website, phone, voicemail, text) but no response. I ordered 12/8/13. I'll do a bank dispute and get my money back. Sucks cause I wanted to give the guy a chance. There are always other options too.

Floorit, a moderator at off camber, responded to mine and tssguy123's posts about Kris, and called him out in the forums.
My response to that call-out is below. As stated therein, I think it best if we not allow Kris's actions (or lack thereof) to start a flame war on another site.
"Floorit,
I apologize for binging bad blood to your site. There are many of us that are at our wits end over this, and sadly, we have had to resort to more drastic measures to try to find some resolution. We have all been posting our frustrations on www.cherokeeforum.com for weeks, but that really does no good at all when the subject of the frustrations does not even bother to read the posts. Or answer direct emails. Or return phone calls.
I know this sudden drama may have put you and others in a difficult position involving someone that you, up to this point, had a friendly relationship with. As much as I wish it had not arrived at this point, I also can't in good conscience let Kris frequent other sites and sucker people into making an investment. If he'll stand up and do the right thing, there may still be a chance of him coming our of the other side relatively clean and with some hope of furthering his business. Until that time, I feel it is best for anyone in contact with Kris to know what kind of person they are dealing with.
I appreciate you for allowing us to voice our frustrations. I think the point has been made, your members are now aware, and for my part, I'll suggest to the others at cherokeeforum.com that enough has been said about the issue in the context of your site. No need to muddy things up further. If you like, you may stay in touch with me and I'll let you know what, if any, resolution comes from this. Thank you for your understanding and consideration."
