Well.. I've been in business a long time, and I've been stiffed by customers and vendors alike. This guy was showing all the signs.
Collectively, we gave this guy so much rope that he hung US!
There are few posts by others on off-camber, and not a lot of current and cohesive posts here to get a good idea, but I think it's high time we start to compile some kind of data about exactly how much this guy has duped us for.
I would ask that EVERYONE who placed an HID headlight order with FST that you never received, please make a quick post with your order number, the date your ordered, how you paid (Credit card / Paypal, but no account numbers obviously) and how much you paid. In the event that some kind of fraud suit occurs, we'll at least have some specific information to go on.
I know there are those of you who also got stiffed on other items from him, but I'd like to keep this initial roll call confined to the core subject of this thread. If any of you want to start another thread related to other items, that's probably a good idea.
It kills me that someone can come into a community as helpful and generous as this one, and steal from us. We do a pretty good job of supporting each other, and there are some terrific vendors on here who have proven themselves time and time again. So thanks to all the Stand-Up guys!

For what it's worth, I'm here to vouch for Kris in any way I can. Yes, I read through that HID thread and no I can't blame anyone for being pissed off that they spent money and never got a product. BUT, If anyone just takes a step back for a minute and looks at the entire picture, this debacle was logically inevitable. A LOT if not all the people that have bought from Kris in the past know that he works for himself and also know that making one set alone for yourself can be a bit time consuming and quite a process. Kris puts out a sale price and gets flooded with orders. Perhaps people could have asked more questions as far as ETA before pulling the trigger. Yes, maybe he should have told everyone that a wait list would grow, but if I remember right, it's in that same thread that he even entertained offering such kits and R&D will also be part of the process. SO maybe we all should have known or had an idea what the consequences would be if you jumped on such an awesome deal, there would be a lot of others.
My experience with Kris was grade A. I purchased his 3 Link Kit and Kaboodle Kit, Crossover Steering and Track Bar Kit and had pages of questions and answers for him ranging from installation to delivery status and got answers to all of them in a timely manner. He went out of his way to tailor his Kit with Currie joints for me when he hadn't offered such a kit at the time. Kris is truly a stand up guy and I think this ordeal just became an overwhelming situation for him. I can't imagine him ever contemplating waking away with people's cash. However I do agree with everyone that communication is key in any form. I think this was a huge learning experience for him and everyone else overall in that when R&D is involved in new ideas, it takes time.
Just my 2 cents.
