If you guys are not customers of Kris's or people who have no intention of being his customers just stay out of this thread, So people can see what the product looks like once finished instead of filtering through all of the bashing. Everyone knows he delivers the products but production is slow.

Pick 2 of the following which would you prefer in a product

Quality
Fast
Economical

I choose quality and economical so I know I'm going to have to wait.

I'm not a customer, but would like to be one. Slow turn around is fine, no communication is not. I'm not trying to bash, maybe something came up in his life? But its just my opinion that if you're going to offer a product and take peoples money, you owe them a status update, even if its a public one that takes 2 seconds to let everyone know. I'm sure he has a really good reason, but for me, I wont give a business any money if they ignore their customers. just my .02. I hope he comes through, I really like the product.

Crap happens and heck, all 20 of those cases could be tickets or something (that's a lot of times to go to court as a defendant, sheesh), but buyers beware.
I have one thing to mention to you about this post that you may or may not have thought of.

1. All things posted on the internet can be easily traced back to the one who posted it, if you thought otherwise you were wrong.
2. Statements that made any hint of improper or wrong doing in his sales of products make "You" liable in any court of law for monies that he may claim he lost due to your in print posting.
3. This will never go away and you should hope Kris does not loose one thin dime from anyone. If he does you could be paying him a check for many years.

On to another matter, I have exchanged several emails with Kris this last week on the broken headlight I returned. He did not have another Blue Halo in stock and needed mine to cut the housing and lens to replace the Halo in the new one. He did tell me he has been busy and trying to catch up. He had returned to a full time job 8 hrs I think then back to his sideline business, this one.

I think we all know that he can't make a living selling headlights to us at these prices and even pay the rent. Let's be real guy's I was well pleased with my kit and the quality of the items. The only problem was the packing material and size of box with him, as I ship 3-400 items a year all over the world mostly electronics.

I do feel he is trying to catch up as quickly as possible.

I ordered one in December and patiently waiting. I try not to think on it much. I am one of those people that tracks products every step of the way. I knew what I was getting into when I ordered this item. Just a bit of reassurance it's all I ask.

I don't believe in slander or anything like that, but the thing that will drive business away is poor communication. He can have a life outside of his shop, but letting his customers know what's going on is the least he could do. A simple "Hey guys very swamped with life and my main job, thinfs will speed up in X amount of time."

I was going to buy his setup, but without knowing anything, I decided to my own build my own and call it a day.

With that being said, I hope he gets his orders out for you guys soon and get these lights out since it's a great idea for a good price.

Talked to Kris a few days ago and asked him to get on here and talk everyone. He hasn't done this yet so I'll just post our conversation. He's very backlogged and doesn't have the time to make them and get them shipped out fast. Leave the guy alone, he'll get them finished. Yes I would like my headlights sooner but things happen and sometimes you don't have the time to fulfill the needs of your customers in time.

That's good to know. I have been known to wait for parts. I waited 5 months for a swing out tire carrier for my YJ, 2-3 months for my winch bumper on my XJ. Every time I have been pleased with the finished product. Sometimes a slow wait time is worth the wait.

Hey everyone, I have the 6,000k hids and my only issue with mine is when I have my xj running, I turn my lights off, my parking lights and interior lights shut off but not the actual headlights. They stay on till I turn my jeep off. When its off and I shut my lights off it runs the 30 sec. Delay. Also the hids came with a wiring harness similar to the putco wiring harness, but set up for hids. They are the high and low hid bulbs. This is just an inconvenience when I pull up some where and have to turn my jeep off to shut them off. Any ideas why this is happening??

Turn off the headlights and then turn off the ignition, at least thats how my headlights work. Or I turn them off after ignition and they stay on for 30 seconds.

Thats how my lights are but while running with the switch off the headlights are still on. What would be a good fix for this issue without getting rid of the lights?

While the jeep is running turn the lights off and then switch your high beams on. that's the way I have to turn mine off.

Also you risk messing up the ballast if you let them go off on there own.
