HID Headlight Kit
I don't care about the wait time as much as I do the complete lack of communication. Like some of you I would rather wait for a good quality product to be built rather than have some piece of **** rushed to my door. Can't beat the price and the pictures of the finished products look awesome. But...
I called, never received a call back even when I left both my name and number. Reading back through the thread it looks as if I'm not the only one who has contacted him without any response.
Not only that, but it takes all of 30 seconds to log on to here and at least touch base with us in this thread.
EDIT: For those who want to see a finished product but are unwilling to search through this thread...here are pictures pmondo posted when he received and installed his headlights.

If he ever reads this, he should consider doing a DIY kit. I haven't done much looking but it seems like if I were to buy the parts myself it'd be more than $200.
Before making my purchase I tried to price out the parts. With not having much prior knowledge when it comes to buying all of the parts necessary I couldn't figure out how to get the parts under $200. Just the HID kit and projectors could cost that much.

He gets cheaper pricing being that he buys in quantity. Which is why I'm saying he should sell a kit. Where in ATL are you by the way?
It's not hard, but even with the low cost parts, he isnt making a lot and if it's your first attempt at retrofits, then spending $60-80 more is worth saving the headache, mess, and hassle as long as the product is coming to you complete and well done.

Eh hem... (see signature) parts can be had for around $140+ or right around $200 from theretrofitsource. Projectors from the ebay kit which I'm assuming he is using because it comes with the same bulbs, ballasts, etc, are actually morimoto projectors without the sticker and without the latest revisions to the shield that morimoto has done to eliminate the small stray beams of light that go up into the trees (tiny amount that you dont notice). For more info if you choose to tackle it yourself, search hidplanet for morimoto mini mods and improvements prior to installing [such as correcting the tabs bend angle to avoid sticking, and closing the two small holes on the shield that cause the stray spotlights in the trees.

I trust my mechanical ability enough to do something like this...but if I mess up I'm SOL.
...so I guess I don't trust my mechanical ability enough to do something like this...
I didn't know the parts could be sourced for ~$140 though. I'm going to do some research to figure out how to fix this stray light problem you mentioned.

For those that say they can do it themselves, why don't you order all the components, start your own thread, and begin competing with him them? Maybe then you'll see what the guy is going through with a bunch of impatient people on a forum.

Calm the **** down, boy-o. People CAN do it themselves and have done so. Selling is a different story.

I'm sure there is a large percentage of people that COULD do it themselves, including myself. We were all just under the impression that there was someone that had it down pat and offered that service at a great price. If I needed retros ASAP I would have bought the material and did it myself in one weekend. But either way, everyone knows how we feel about this subject. We are all willing to wait but it is going to come to a point when not everyone IS willing to wait.
