I'm order 1212 and was told by him last week that there are 15-20 sets ahead of me. So the light order numbers are not in numerical order since people order other products.

Then he's either a liar or he's not doing them in order. The text I got from him on the week on the 13th was that mine (order 1160) were shipped "last week" - meaning the week of the 5th and we haven't received anything.

I have no trust in him whatsoever and don't believe anything he says.

If he told you it shipped you should have been emailed a USPS tracking number. Go to the USPS site and track the package and see what it says. Mine took forever seems that it takes 10 days to get a mail truck from WA to Chicago. I called the post office and had them make a ticket on it because it was more than 10 days since it was shipped low and behold even though they said they had no idea where it was on Friday, it showed up on my door step on Saturday. So use the tracking info once it leaves his hands it is the post office's problem. If you didn't get a tracking number then you have a reason to be pissed.

I received a tracking number. It had not changed status from "electronic shipping info received" since 8 January. Additionally, the post office had no record if it being sent. They only have a record of the shipping label being created. Nothing to track and no communication from Kris - that's enough for me to be pissed.

Yeah just got the same e-mail. As long as it gets to me I can wait it out I guess. Just wish communication would have been more open.

You can make a label and do nothing with it. They can sit on it 3 weeks before its actually dropped off at the post office. The tracking number doesnt mean anything until the post office actually gets the package.

I guess that's just another way of it looking like progress is being made to keep buyers complacent.

Unplugging the delay module worked good for me. Although once I turned my highbeams on they would not turn off until I turned the headlights off. I ended up pulling the fog light relay and all is good now

Yeah I didn't have fog lights to worry about.

Yes, the highbeam issue is a different one with a different solution. If you want to keep your fogs and not have the highbeam problem, check out this thread.

I received my first "Electronic USPS Tracking Numbers" ready for pickup/shipped in Dec 2013, from my Oct order. It never came, called the 1st of Jan. he advised that the first set had been damaged by USPS, but they never had any tracking information and they returned them to him. I have never heard of that before and I do quite a bit of shipping and the customer is the one is who reports the damage, Ok I let that go.

Waited another week or so and called then he said they had been shipped priority mail I should see it in 3 days or so. A week later it showed up stuffed in a small priority mail box with no packing material inside.

My wife brought it in and told me that this box had a lot of rattling inside. I opened the box another one of the headlights were broken. Not surprising the way it was packed, or I should say thrown in the box. I called him and spoke with him about the problem with the packaging and the broken headlight. He told me to return it to min Priority mail (3 day) I did and he received it on the third day. It was properly packaged in the right box with packing materials. I shipped it on 1/7/14 and he received it on 1/10/14 he advised that the day he received it that he would remove the Blue Halo (he said he didn't have anymore) and put it in the new housing. Then ship it the next day now it's the 29th of Jan. and still no headlight only an electronic tracking number that waiting on the package.

He seemed like a nice enough guy and I had planned on doing several thousand dollars in business with him, but at this juncture it seems doubtful because of the problems with this small order and me ordering as early as I did.

This 4 month ordeal really needs closure and the only other post in this thread I will make about it is if and when I receive it. If not you know I went another direction on this matter with Pay Pal and my Credit Card company. BTW always tie your Pay Pal payments to a CC for an easier way to get your money back during a dispute instead of waiting months for PP to act.

This is good advice. And you only have a 2 month window to file a claim to get the funds back through Paypal. Anything after that and the seller and you have no recourse through Paypal. If you use a credit card you should be able to do a chargeback at anytime.

wow Fred that's a bunch of BS. I feel lucky I even got mine at this point. I think if I were some of you guys I'd take up the offer to get a refund and go about your business. Seems like there are other options out there.

With the USPS tracking I did have to wait about a day or two for the information to go from created to actually seeing that it left a sorting facility. If you've waited longer than that then yeah I'd say it's just a label sitting on a box in his shop.

I've sent an email, text, and pm for a refund. Haven't heard anything. I'm patient with communication. With none, it makes it extremely difficult for me. I just want my money back. He can keep the lights.
