Quality shop for sure; they have secured my business there.

so you got 3" pipe going out the muffler? or 3" throughout the whole exhaust?

I loved my glass pack, if your sticking to 2.25 I think your limited to the 40. Not sure. I prefer the 44 myself.

Sorry 3" long pipe to compensate for the shorter muffler, not 3" diameter.

ahh gotchya.. yeah i can have my buddy or a shop do some welding for me. so im leaning towards the 44, but my gut is telling me 40... i really want to turn some heads and fool idiots into thinking i have more than a I6 (a v8) but i do want whichever is gonna give me a deeper, more aggressive tone even if its a little quieter than the other

As said its not to be tales about. But if you have (or had) a post cat o2 sensor then it can be messed up.

According to that chart, the 44 is deeper than the 40

Im pretty good with exhaust, but Im looking for an opinion/ experience. I have a super 44 off road and i welded it on and welded a bead down the entire case to the frame. Needless to say, its not going anywhere lol. But now Im driving a lot of long trips and the drone is getting a little annoying after a while. Just wondering, has anyone ever put another muffler, say a glasspack, in front of another muffler. I know it seems stupid but there's not a whole lot of space and there's almost no chance of replacing the 44. The glasspack could slip right in front of it, and I don't think it would decrease the flow to much. Any opinions and suggestions welcome, I just dont want to go cutting and it turn into a disaster lol.

On mustang forums a guy welded bullet style mufflers in front of his mufflers to control drone. Essentially they were resonators.

So for the person just wanting to swap the factory muffle with a resonator or glass pack, what is the length needed?
