I have a hair-line crack where the tubes meet the collector on the exhaust manifold. Can this be mig/tig welded or does the manifold need to be replaced. Thanks.

Just spotted this thread so I apologize for the repost. So looking for some advice. My 97 XJ needs a new cat-back exhaust system and cat converter, ordered both parts from Amazon.
Dynomax 17340 Amazon.com: Dynomax 17340 Exhaust System: Automotive
Magnaflow 23226 Directfit Cat Converter
Amazon.com: Magnaflow 23226 Direct Fit Catalytic Converter (Non CARB compliant): Automotive
On a scale of 1-5, how difficult is this going to be?
I've only done some minor maintenance since I've owned the Jeep, so I don't have a lot of experience when it comes to more advanced projects like these.
Anything I should know? Specific tools I need or equipment I need?
Thanks

Not Necessarily noticeable, but I would be suprised if anything done to an XJ's exhaust would really affect the butt-dino readings. The chief advantage is that they have that flex pipe in them, so they don't crack as often as the factory ones.
