okay i was wondering what i should do, the rear leafs in my 95 cherokee are sagging pretty bad..theres a place right by me that can re-arch them and then add-a-leaf to fix it for $180 or i could get new rear leafs off JC whittney for $99 a piece...what do you would be my best bet??

Do 2 inch shackles raise the back 2 inches or is that cut in half because you are only applying to one side? Or do they come as 4 inches long and then do 2 inches of lift. Wondering....

Now I've decided to run a Rusty's 3 inch lift and they come one of two ways...New leafs?....or Add a leafs? I was leaning towards add a leaf...but does an add a leaf prevent flex on the rear axle?

If you're gonna spend the $ anyway, go for new leaf packs. I have aal's and when I added 1 3/4" shackles for a little more lift, it just flattened the packs. Check out Stillwater Outfitter XJ's profile. He has the same lift I do but with shackles and new leaf packs in back with coil spacers up front, it looks sicker and makes a difference in clearance.
Not sure if it prevents flex....but i will agree with xer0 that it will give you a bigger lift....and if you have the extra money for the new set....go for the set man....definitely the way to go!!!!!!
Ok so i finally got some money to spend on my XJ. As of now im trying to figure out what lift i should get. I have around 800 bucks max to spend on a lift. Im looking to get a 4.5" lift and i was looking at getting the rough country lift. But i ran into a little problem. I noticed that there is 2 different packages and i dont know which ones better. Theres one for $459.95 with add-a-leafs or one with rear springs for $655.95. Which ones better? Im going to be daily driving my jeep if that makes a difference at all. But if you guys could help me to steer in the right direction that would be great.
Thanks!
Thanks!
