Recently bought a 1999 Cherokee Limited with 152,000km (95,000mi), fully loaded power/heated/keyless/etc, all stock & never wheeled for $450.
Jeep had been sitting for 2 years and wasn't running and had been hit in the right front (wrecked the front axle, bent the fender, wrecked the bumper, set off both airbags, flare, and bent the alloy rim). Only rust is a small 3x5" hole in passenger floor. All the was affected in the accident doesn't matter as it's all being replaced with the current build.
Pics how I got it and after flare removal:

I paid $0 for my XJ. An elderly, long time client knew how much I loved her Jeep and had promised to sell it to me cheap when she was no longer able to drive. Before that could happen, her good friend bought her a 1999 Lincoln Continental with just 20,000 miles on it so she decided to pay it forward by giving me her XJ. It was perfect timing, my '86 Audi (290K miles) had just failed smog miserably and been condemned by the state to the crusher. The XJ, on the other hand, had only 106K miles on it, had lived in California it's whole life (she bought it new in '89), had never been driven off road, and had always been garaged. She had never used 4-wheel drive... didn't even know what that extra lever was for.

$3,300 for a 2000 sport. 7/10 condition, 142,000 miles. I calculated that I average 52 miles a week therefore won't be at 200,000 miles until around 2035. By then I should be able to afford a rear tire carrier bumper ha ha
