After bending my 4.10 pinion in the D44, I decided to just regear to 4.88s. So, waiting for it to get back from the shop currently... I really wish I knew how to do them- I have done everything else to mine.
Kinda worried the 4.88s won't hold up with the Stroker but we will see. Excited to see the "seat of your pants" result.

Replaced the serpentine belt. The Texas heat dries them out quickly so this was just for peace of mind.
Also pulled the trigger on the Brown Dog poly motor mounts. Again, because the Texas heat is tough on rubber. There's rarely ever a passenger in my XJ and I only log about 5,000 miles a year in it, so the trade-off of any increased vibes due to poly's is acceptable.
Probably going to do their engine brackets in the not-to-distant future.

You'll be fine.

Realized I got in over my head

Then decided to jump onto youtube/google and figure this out.

Just need to get some crimping stuff tomorrow to finish the job
