What did you do to your Cherokee today?

That would be great. Been wondering if I should invest in those 4.0 engine books I see on Amazon.

Even though mine is an '00 I am leaning towards trying to find a '99 engine to work with. Since I have the TUPY head, hopefully is good or rebuildable, can turn a distributor motor into the distributorless one. Or so I have read. Logic being the '00 have the 0331 heads. They crack. The coolant get down there and destroys all the bearings. Thinking the guides must take a beating too. Meaning more machine work. Realize I am pretty clueless but does that even remotely make sense?

Both companies cast the 0331 heavier where the OEM ones failed. These are not reman heads. The engine blocks do havesome bad casting ive been told. I have a 96 block over 300k that cracked under the freezeplug the first time i did a water crossing.

What brush guard is that? I picked up what I believe to be a Manik last year off Craigslist. Also what I am guessing are the matching tail light guards. Pretty sure the ones I have on the Jeep now are factory Mopar ones and those are different. That is why I am guessing they are Manik ones. One of my many projects for the Spring.

What do you think of that stuff? I picked up a Factory Jeep cargo mat. The one where you can expose the tie downs on the floor. Thing that bugs me is it is not black like the Rugged Ridge mats in there now. It is Agate. Been wondering if I could use that stuff but figure it would just get worn off by throwing stuff in there and end up looking like crap.
