Well your garage certainly is organized! And I *DO* recall a post about setting off a smoke alarm with a leaf blower...

I recall this as well, LMAO

If you use yard tools to clean your house, of COURSE the garage will be cleaner!

Believe I solved a serious issue my 96 XJ has been having more and more regularly, to the point it happened every time I started it.
It was as simple as following Cruiser54's signature advise "refresh connections before replacing components". And a pointer in the right direction from Salad.

Jeep was getting erratic signals to injectors. Either jeep would start too quickly (instantly when starter engaged), or it would turn over but not start at all. When this happened I have to push gas pedal to floor while starting to 'clear flood'.
CEL was for the coolant temp sender, which has an affect on injector pulses. I removed the sensor for inspection and noticed the harness contacts in plug were dirty. Cleaned them with emery cloth and reinstalled sensor. That was a few days ago and seemed to solve the issue. Jeep starts normally now every time.
Like Salad said, "it could be that the sensor is screwy", he was correct once again.

Tore into the NP242-WJ that I bought last week. Some rainwater got inside so there were pockets of wax and dirt and rust. Cleaned everything up and only a couple spots of rust remain on one of the sprockets. Its in pretty good shape otherwise. Decided I don't need any of the parts so I am putting it back up for sale.

Plowed my way all the way across town through the crazy flash floods that hit San Antonio today.

I love my Jeep.

Headliner and all my speakers swapped over. Had to run some new wires since they started to corrode. Also got the LEDs swapped over, and picked up crimps so I can wire up my CB tomorrow. Hoping to have my trim in tomorrow as well.
