The Peep needed a little lovin with a continued exhaust leak at the EGR tube connection to the header. Well in this weather, a quick fix with iron pipe bushing and a 1/2 copper coupler will quieten the noise till temp at least rises to just feezin for summer.
Added a liter of 10W30, we are just 3KKm shy of the AMC scheduled 725Kkm interval.
A quick spray of brake clean to remove oil film and a small file touch up of the distributor rotor and contacts.
A couple dolops of power steering and rad fluid.
A shot of grease in all 18 nipples. Air filter was checked and good.
IAC was misbehavin this week with a high idle issue when heat soaked, I threatened to change it out and it hasn't hicupped since all week end.
The 95ZJ was well behaved with only some washer fluid and a wiper blade.
Pooch monitored the whole process from the back.
Was then time for me an the Pooch to walk off a couple pounds of winter weight, well me anyways.
Cute pup...I also did some work today, and was also monitored by my pooch...since the jeep is back up, every time I walk by the front door my dog goes ape-bananas...meaning ****, LOL...did my diff services front and rear, new gaskets and ultra black, topped off all fluids, added a tad more coolant, trans is good, oil needed a quart, put the front drive shaft back in, re-torqued various bolts, re-did the sealant on my cowl intake, washed it, took out all unnecessary crap, and getting ready to clean the interior, general wipe down, and removal of anything that can fly out, so I can drive it to work tomorrow with the doors off.

My pup was either in the front seat, or lying on the ground next to me as I performed the work...she missed her jeep as much as I did during the last 5 1/2 months....

I'm working a 12 hour shift today, but I spent some time XJ shopping for the lady, and I'm doing some geometry to determine whether or not these 6° shims should fix the pinion angle on my 8.8 swap.

Even better! She's mad cause I haven't found her an XJ to wheel and a TJ to drive. And she wants to pay for everything herself! AND she wants to learn to work on them!

Default Nyala McPhoo

Nyala runs 95 to 100 lb, depends summer or winter. I feed her more when the cold weather arrives, she needs to make more heat when outside (just like me) and our exercise is definitely more in the summer. Seems easier for her to loose the pounds but she does run the circles around me. Especially when Yogi Bear comes to visit. She's a hard core Jeep enthusiast and claims the back of the Peep for her travelling domain.
