Friend at gas station. "you drive a p***y jeep!
Me "does that mean you ride a c**k?"

And then at NAPA is it a Grand Cherokee? No did I say grand...then go in the next day and get parts for my Grand Cherokee that's the same year also, that tends to **** them off...
I had this happen at the Jeep dealership when I went for a part. I told him I needed it for a 97 Jeep Cherokee. he then gives me attitude about whether it's a Grand Cherokee or a regular. I told him if it was a grand cherokee I would have said so. I'm sorry that I gave you all the info right away (engine type and everything) and you stopped listening because you wanted to know if it was a grand or not. I obviously know exactly which vehicle I own. I also work in customer service so I know that you need to be listening to your customers. Bugs me when "professionals" do this stuff.

I went to my insurance office today bescause I bought a second cherokee last night. It's a 99 Cherokee Sport. Handed the insurance lady my title so she could enter the info. First she couldn't find me on my policy cause she was on someone elses. I let that go. Then she found mine and was entering the information and asked is the a wrangler or a grand cherokee...my response: B%^*& does it even say f%#^%% wrongler or grand anywhere on the title?! It's a real jeep a CHEROKEE, it's def not a girlie a$$ wrongler. Funniest part...my husband is getting one of those this weekend, as she makes a sad face. Well it's a girl jeep I said, and she transfered me to a different agent in the office.

You have to cut them SOME slack, do you know how many idiots that have Grand Cherokees come in and say they have a "Cherokee"? WE may know exactly what we drive, but not everyone does. Not all the parts guys know what an XJ cherokee is either. I'm getting in the habit of just saying "2000 Jeep regular Cherokee with a 4.0....". Keeps me from getting annoyed as much.

Real quick, my friend has a dodge ram with 7" inch in the front and no lift in the rear. total brodozer

(my friend) dude, you should find a long travel suspension instead of just a lift and prerunner your Jeep
(me) why?
(friend) itll be better for off roading
(me) I didnt know being stuck consantly was off roading
(friend) dude, that was 4 times and the mud was worse than it looked.
(me) soo why did I have no problem with it?
(friend).....
(me) cause I bought a Jeep.

A while back, I went to a place called "Maximum Altitude", was supposed to be an off-road shop, well I wanted a quote for a 6.5" lift, after looking at my XJ for about ten minutes, he told me this-
"Well, I'd recommend you get a 4 inch suspension lift, and a 2 inch body lift." That's when I just thanked him for his time, and let him know I will never let him touch my Jeep. Of course now I realize how stupid I was, I own an XJ, when I lift it, I'm doin the work myself... and am only getting 4.5".

The only time i washed the mud off of it and cleaned it meticulously was for the marriage of my brother.
At the end of the day when it was over he told me: " You did great today, but did you really have to take that thing with you? couldn't you take the good car?"
