I get that at Autozone, but I've recently started going to the Advance Auto by my house. I walk in and say "98 Cherokee" then watch them choose "Jeep, Cherokee, 4.0L" all by themselves. It makes me happy.

 

Haha I have to tell my advanced multiple time cherokee sport not grand Cherokee..kinda pisses me off too

 

I don't think there is a single XJ owner who never had this problem, I had it at the local Advanced Auto when I ran to get a heater core.

By the way, how old do you need to be to work at an auto parts store? I was thinking about working at one, all the people there seem clueless (No offense) and it doesn't seem like it would be that hard. Please PM me to keep this thread from being over run with unrelated posts

 

i would guess 17 or 18. i know from where i live most auto parts places pay you based on your knowledge of auto parts. good luck.

 

So the subject of the gas prices came up at work and one of the managers (he thinks hes a big shot and he is the lazy manager I think I have ever had) anyways, he always has something smart *** to say to everything and i was saying how high the gas is and he responded by say" when gas gets $5 a gallon, come back and tell me how much you like your Jeep"

 

Tell him to go drive his prius home and shut the f*** up..

 

over here i love people saying you got a jeep to land rover owners cause they jealous jeep started it ,they copied it never bettered it xj eats defenders

 

My friends are always telling me that I'm obsessed with my Jeep. But, one of the worst things they always say to me is: "Want to take you car?"

Okay guys, I've made my point clear several times. It's a Jeep, not a god damn car. Big difference!

But, then again, there's always things they say and I take as a compliment like: "You talk about Jeeps as if they were people! You're crazy!" or "Why don't you just become a mechanic?"

I really hate that no matter what the obstacle is ( ditch, rock, mudhole, tree etc.) After someone says," You can't go over, through or around that" I always HAVE to try!!!!!!

 

"Oh you're here. I thought your car broke down. It's only a Jeep. It's not like it's a hummer."

I then proceeded to point out he drives a ford taurus, in which the problem was already circled.

 

he actually drives a (what he thinks) is a" bad ***" camero. he goes on and on about that stupid thing and how he grew up only driving cameros. he thinks hes a bad *** with his cars. but yet hes had so much trouble with that thing. i havent had any problems with my Jeep except i had to be like a 20 dollar idler puller. i just think its funny how people critizes other people vehicles when themselves has a busted *** ride.

 

i always park my jeep on this curb at work. just want to see how many people think I dont know how to park or ask why I parked like that. I just tell them its Jeep. what other way to park is there??

 

im a jeep addict too. lol. anything Jeep, Im down. i find myself on here all dat long just seeing what people are talking about. i talk about my jeep all day at work to whoever will listen.

 

my husband is wanting to lower mine. dont think so...if anything it getting lifted.
