4x4's with plastic parts and 17's were not ment to 4x4
Not gonna argue that! But dam the wife's Riot is good in snow! If only Colorado would pass a law banning all idiots from driving when the white stuff starts flying!

Seriously, who thinks it's a good idea to take an accord over the mountains with bald tires in the winter.

I love my XJ as much as everyone else. But to say that Wranglers are not capable off road vehicles is just not correct. Whether it's a YJ, TJ, or the new JK they are still very capable. I own both an XJ and a TJ and am very confident in both of their abilities. The only issue I have with Wrangler's is actually with their owners. When I drive my TJ they will all wave back at me, in my XJ most will ignore me. We are all Jeep owners and I don't think we need any of that "elitist" crap!

I agree completely. I don't like the people who think they are better than you because they drive a certain type of vehicle or because it cost $75.000.

That's when you should have parked on said ricer's hood and showed him the reason we can't do body lifts and then directed him to a body shop

Your XJ is sitting in a giant snow drift, covered up to the top of the wheel, when some guy comes up to you in his crappy 80 something pickup and asks if you need to be pulled out.

Your response should always be "I'll pull it out myself, and I'll only pull out when I'm ready"

This is what to sat to an xj owner that makes him smile.

I sunk my jeep a week ago and couldn't understand what was wrong so I took her to the shop I called and talk to the guy working on her and he said " I got it running and the engine runs amazing, you sure you dove this underwater?" I smiled and said yep sure did

Murphy's law in action.

I find it best to keep my mouth shut about what my jeep can or can't do. It's mostly stock, but as soon as I start talking smack, it's going to get buried somewhere and I'm going to have to get help getting it out.
