If your not bashing anyone than why did you call pretty much half of this forum inbred rednecks?

And finally, everyone curses unless your some kind of freaking saint, and starting fights with people is not "proper". And when did he run someone else down? He was talking about two A-holes, last time I checked if someone is an a$$ to you, you don't treat them like royalty you are going to be an a$$ to them.

I'M 16 AND I THINK I HAVE MORE RESPECT, for people who deserve it, THAN YOU DO!
SAID AND DONE, ARGUMENT OVER, GET BACK ON FREAKING TOPIC AND STOP BIT**ING!

why don't you trade that in for something that is a little bit more luxurious and "new"

My answer: The A/C works, the heat works, that's all that matters. And why have something with a super smooth suspension I think it's more fun to feel every bump in the road, it gives you a better feeling for the vehicle. And this is "new", It's a '98! It's 13 years NEW!
DUDE! We moved on already. Don't go bringing stuff back up starting crap all over again. If you have so much respect, respect all of us that just want to hear funny things said to XJ owners and stay on topic. Thank you in advance.

Had a buddy ask if it was a Grand Cherokee or the cheaper one?
Then when he got stuck and I pulled him out gave him a grand bill and asked him if I sill fell into the cheaper section.

And then at NAPA is it a Grand Cherokee? No did I say grand...then go in the next day and get parts for my Grand Cherokee that's the same year also, that tends to **** them off...

When you tell all of your friends you have a cherokee and they automatically assume it's a grand cherokee.

And referring to the last persons post. WHY IN THE WORLD DOES SOMEONE ALWAYS ASSUME THAT JUST BECAUSE GRAND IS IN IT, IT MAKES IT MORE EXPENSIVE?!?!?!?!?!?! I hate when people do that.

Here's a new one:

We got some decent snow here in VA, and I went outside to start my XJ and run into town. Our parking lots had about 6-8" of snow, and the roads were scraped/squashed to about 3-4"

Anyway, when I start my XJ, a neighbor with a lifted Yota pickup laughs and says "Hey buddy. Be careful out there. I doubt that thing will make it out of the lot and off the hill (steep grade hill leading into our parking lots) without getting stuck or sliding."

I kept my composure, and said "Thanks for the concern." The last thing I saw was him shoveling snow from beneath his front and rear tires in my rear-view mirror as I was headin towards town.

That actually happened to me today (kinda) the parking lot was full (was looking for half an hour) so I just parked behind a bush in a field behind the lot (It's nothing but dirt, so I'm not ruining any grass or anything)... I was already ten minutes late to class, I wasn't gonna spend any more time looking for a space. Awesomely enough- a campus cop just told me to let him know if I get a ticket or anything for it. Just hoping I don't have to do that again :P

That was priceless!

Tonight I pulled up to a Chrysler 300 stuck in their driveway. I leaned out the window an asked if they wanted a pull. The guy looks at me with a blank expression on his face an replies "Do u have a truck?" I replied no I have something better. Its called a Jeep. He says I doubt it'll pull it out (car is sitting in 5-6 inches of snow) so I backed up to his car hooked a tow rope up an in 2WD!! pulled him out. He was amazed especially after I told him I didn't use 4wd. Ha ha. Shoulda seen the look on his face... priceless!

My dearest 16 year old Griff.

I voiced an opinion, darling. An opinion MANY people on here share, yet unfortunately I'm the only one who cared enough to say something. I've had numerous messages telling me how much they agree with all that I said - great. I know a lot of people on here are ashamed of the childlike behaviour. I can appreciate how someone of your age wouldn't understand why I said what I said. You'll take that as an insult, however I assure you it's not meant as one.

I just find it a little bothersome that the vast majority of posters on here think they're so much better than every other vehicle owner, and that XJ's are the only vehicle that should be respected, and can only curse and run every non XJ owner down. It's pathetic. Especially considering how old some of you are.

I'm 28. I'm young enough to still get out there and get covered in mud and roll over fallen trees and "roll with the cool kids", but I'm also old enough to know that it's NOT "cool" to talk like you've never entered an educational facility. Have a little respect, is all I'm saying. This IS a public forum that anyone on the internet can see - keep that in mind. There are a LOT of children out there, considering buying Jeeps, that will see these forums. Parents of those children will see these forums. And those parents, having seen the crap that's mentioned on here, may think twice about letting their children turn into... gasp... you.

Rants over.

Never tell an XJ owner's girlfriend how much money he's put into it.
I think we can all attest to that.

Let me say one thing: The more you tell me NOT to say something, the more I'll have to say.

So if you want it ended, kindly end it yourself.

Things not to say to an XJ owner: End it.
