Friend of mine got married about a year ago and i got all excited cause i washed up my xj and waxed it, got it all fancy for my buddies wedding. My fiance however was not happy hopping in and out of it in a dress during the day but my buddies were saying how good my jeep looked when i rolled up in it. Had to pop the hood and disconnect the battery terminal when i got out too. My one buddy said "now thats a real jeep" that falls into the category of things you say to an xj owner.

I was messing with one of the guys at work, and he said, "You don't have any money cause you keep buying piece of **** parts for your Jeep!"
That struck home, and I corrected him angrily: "Shows what you know. I'm buying damn good parts for my piece of **** Jeep!"
We stared at each other for a second and started cracking up

I get that all the time, no one understands, until you take them for a trash down a winding gravel road and dont kill them.

My dad told me yesterday that I cant get a lift. When I asked him why he said because its a V6. I said no its an inline 6. His response? "Same difference. That motor cant handle a lift and bigger tires"

"Why didn't you buy a Wrangler? They're cooler."

If I wanted "Cool" I would have taken my bank loan and bought a 2wd 1/2 ton ford and bought a Flowmaster and a leveling kit...
