The military gm trucks was 83-87 they was rated at a ton and half the blazer was a m1009 the pickup was a m1008.When i told my friend who owns a liberty i was looking to buy a jeep he sounded happy and asked what body style wrangler I'm getting,As soon as i said I'm looking at xj's he went on how they rust out easy and get stuck.I had to remind him how many times i have pulled his liberty out of the trail with my stock k20 truck.

I did give him hell over owning a liberty so he bought a small lift and tires for it.One day i went over his house i came in and said who left their roller skate in the driveway i ran it over,He ran outside to see if i really ran over his liberty.Or i told him it would make a great spare tire for my truck ill park on it if i get a flat.He just can't drive down the trails my truck makes it fine but for the tight turns is why i want something smaller like a xj.
