I agree as far as unbolting them goes, just seems that as far as Wranglers go, legally speaking, if the tops on the doors have to be on.
Operating doors as in opening and closing. Not that they must have them, only that if they are there they must work.

For example, no Dukes and their General Lee kinda stuff unless its a convertible.

^^One is doorless and on has soft doors that I imagine open and close...

The kits don't come with doors. All has to be purchased seperately. The Meyer's Manix (creaters of the "dunebugy" body) Company doesn't even offer doors or side window panels. But yet they are street legal.

You kinda answered your question then...

Like you said, the kit is manufactured without doors.

As the law states, all vehicles, except those with removable or no doors, are required to have them.

This isnt made with doors, it doesnt need them.

I don't see the confusion.
