How does CF feel about bored throttle bodies? Thinking about getting one.

From what I read, its a snappier throttle response. I have a hard enough time keeping it smooth on the throttle as it is after stroking to 4.7L

Ill pass.

If they had a kit to make it a gradual throttle opening, I would definitely get one.

I guess I meant a variable throttle ratio.

Here's a graph to explain it.

i think that kit you speak of is called your foot

but i dont see why you would want to do that on an xj.. they have that stuff in hybrids though.. so your talking about totally going to a fly by wire system

Well I have a vac leak at the bushings on my TB, so I need a new one anyway. Local JY says $75, bored TB from strokedjeep.com is $90.

LOL no, Nothing to do with electrical throttle

Its just a cam and cable. Nothing very technical. Its used all the time with very powerful engines so it doesn't jump as soon as you touch the throttle.
