Default Bought a jeep!

So I was on my way to travel 3 hours to look at a few jeeps, decided to check CL again for my are before I left and popped up an add 30 min away for a 1996 ZJ Limited V8 Lifted with 68,300 original miles and owner. Fresh paint, after market stereo, after market front seats all records. I decided it was on my way and stopped to look at it. I didn't want a v8 but the truck is super clean and for the age with the miles I could not pass up the deal. So I bought it and will pick it up Friday, the next day off the guy has. He works nights and was ready to go to work today but I asked him to wait so I hurried there! took a deposit and Here is a pic

what do you guys think of the truc. Im paying $3900 for it.. I really think for the miles and all that is a great deal.. Not going to be a serious wheeler, daily driver with some trails and snow, maybe a mud puddle or two

for a daily driver, I like it. on a trail rig, the wheels would be a no-go for me. Looks like it needs tires? maybe just a bad pic?

trust me, you will be very glad you went with the V8 in a ZJ instead of the 4.slow

My idea of a perfect ZJ DD would be:

5.9, NV4500, NP241, Waggy axles, 31" AT's, LOTS of unibody reinforcing

daily driver for my son, to and from school. 10 mile round trip. some trails or snow trips in winter. I just felt that with the miles 68k original two owner car fax clear clean title that for the year and the condition with the lift that it was a great deal. I will add some different tires. The rear are warn a tad fronts are good guy just rotated them. It will need an alignment, it pulls just a tad to the right.

once I get her home, what are some things to look at? maintenance or safety stuff. On the ZJ what are the weak links?

If it was me i would do a full tune up and change all the fluids. With it having low miles it sat a long time so check everything on it just in case.Upgrades i would change the wheels tires and throw in a steering box brace and drive it.

thanks, fluids and full tune up is the first thing I was going to do. Could you provide me with information or link to the steering brace?
