Default New daily woot woot.

So the Grand Cherokee eats gas but its soo much fun to wheel.
I have a 86 4 cylinder 5 speed 4.10s going to try to get the best gas mileage out this as i can.... Any ideas thinking 205s and lowering it maybe...

Nothing wrong with that. Give it a go.

I had a 2.5 5-speed MJ. Got ~26 mpg. Had no power though so it had to go.

My 2.5td xj had 195 tyres (tires) when I bought it with standard 3.73 gearing, pretty nippy acceleration.
Way too low though.

My 87 average 21 mpg stock on 235/75-15's. With the 2.5, AX-5, NP231. The only time I checked the mileage so far with the 33's it was getting 18 mpg, still with the stock 4.10 gears. It needs 4.88-5.13's with the 33's imo.

Driving habits help like when you see a red light coming up down the road,Don't be in a hurry to get up to it and stop just slow down and coast up to it.Taking off from a stop be easy with the gas pedal act like you have a egg under it.

But it's just too much fun beating the snot out of the pedals.the look on people's faces. Priceless...
Especially ones on their phones not paying attention.
