Ha! Are you serious?

I'm still waiting to see my first one in person. I was at the Dodge dealer pricing out a cab and chassis and the salesman swore they'd be here this week. Drove through their lot last night and still no sign of the fugglymobile.

haha, no ****? how'd he manage that? thats some damn fine censorship at work there.. assuming you truly didn't violate posting rules then maybe it warrants contacting the better business bureau.. if it actually went anywhere i think that might get their attention.. probably a lot of work, though..

yeah I didn't violate any posting rules...just shared my thoughts quite a bit, and I'm not the only one. Same thing with a few if my friends.

It might top an XJ on an up hill depending on what kind of traction control it has, that's about it.

Saw one of these on Monday in person. They are even uglier in person. The front grill and hood looks 10x worse. Interior isn't bad though.

The type of people they're selling this to. They expect Real Men to get a Wrangler or Dodge Ram.

Well in 2016 the plan for the wranglers is to have them all independent suspensions, so no more solid axles.

Well I'm glad Jeep has decided to tweak wrangler owners now too. I guess calling this a Cherokee was just a warm up.

Maybe the repercussions from Wrangler owners will help get our point across. It's clear Fiat doesn't care what we think, for all they care Cherokees aren't real Jeeps anyway.
But if WRONGLER owners start getting pissed, we might have a chance...

I still think someone should buy the ****** name and buy Jeep back from Fiat.

It sucks but I highly doubt that. How many JKs of those sold actually leave the road? 5%? I bet 90% don't even leave pavement! 12 different "Special Editions" with expensive paint jobs should be enough to make that point.

Just look at the sales numbers since 1999. If anything, Jeep will continue to move in this direction because the market demands it. Wrangler sales are at an all time high.

Here's a video I was watching where they explain the design:

If Wranglers move to IFS, that will be the final nail in Jeeps coffin for many purists.
