I am sorry, but no, a Patriot will most definately NOT beat a stock XJ on the trails; durability wise, suspension wise, power, drivetrain, approch, departure, transfer case..sorry that is a bunch of BS, driven stock in most of Moab, spotted stock in most of Moab. My XJ has been stock for the 5 years I have owned it, and I have found many reasons to not rush to get a lift (besides a budget)...ever hear that thing "it's the driver, not the car"?

I do agree on the statement made about people needing to focus on their driving and not having "tools to help you drive"

I will also join in keying this new "Cherokee"

(I miss AMC)

What we need to do is find a millionaire somewhere that is willing to buy the XJ design from Jeep and open up production lines to start producing it again.

Answer: they didn't! Look at the death rates in old cars. Then adjust for population growth...it is rather alarming how many died in older cars.

I highly doubt that would make it 1/4 mile in the trails around here you would have to walk once you came to the 2' tall ledges to get to the rock garden. At the first section of the trail. But kudos for getting it out off the pavement.

I hope you guys are keeping up bombing the Jeep FB page and YouTube videos with our thoughts...they still have me blocked from commenting, even though I never said anything profane or ill-willed.
