I fell as though it's Jeep blasphemy.....the Cherokee name is to loved and respected to be just slapped onto a mini soccer mom's "good in the snow" vehicle.......

nooooo.
if Jeep brings the Cherokee back, its needs to be as good as they made them before, not some luxury vehicle. all the new Jeeps now a days never even get to see the mud or rocks, just the pavement. Its all about having heated leather seats now and built in navigation, not being able to get covered in mud inside and out and still be able to just wash it down and do it all over again.

Unfortunately the suv is dead. All major brands are moving to the cross over because it rides like a car. Most people realized that they will never taker their SUV off road. So the auto makers are going to where the customers wants are.

The last pic is the best looking one of them all.
They need to go back to the sharp cornered style cue. Every SUV and crossover looks the same.

I wonder how much it would cost to buy a new from the factory Original Cherokee. Say if they brought out all of the old tooling and started production again. Same everything, just "new".
Would you buy one for $20-$25k?
Wonder if Jeep has any in a warehouse somewhere??? I know you can still buy a crate Honda Odyssey for about $10k brand spank-me new still.
