This may be an amateur question but I couldn't find a video or thread with something similar. So I removed my door panel to do my first window motor/regulator replacement, only to find I've what look like rivets instead of the bolts I was expecting. My replacement also appears to accept the rivets. Anyone know the info for these or a work around? Photos for reference.

My solution was a drill and replaced with 1/4-20 bolts.

 

What he said! Just drill out the rivets and replace with bolts.

And where did you find a new window regulator?
