I wanna do this sooo bad! Might this weekend but I need to seal it off some how afterwords, the exploder hatch is a great idea, I was thinking of just welding a hood off another car/truck and cutting a hole for a rear window to fit and then bracing it all some how.. Any info on sealed off chop tops would be greatly beneficial to me.

I really want to do this to mine i love the look, I wont end up doing it till a get another vehical tho, i plan on making a custom soft top for it, i also think it would be sick to try to keep the top part that is cut off and make it into a hard top

Ive aways been afraid to chop mine just because there is no going back once it's done
But after looking at all these pics maybe I'll consider it in the spring.

i kinda like the CrewManche.. but it needs some 9" of lift and 38s
... but thats just me..
ha if i did somethin like this it deff wouldn't be this long... prolly only use the back 2/3 of the bed like right before the wheel. i think that'd be pretty sweet
