Default Bumper and flares

I've been building my brother a xj and thought I would post some pics. 5in lift, 34/10.50 TSL's, cut and relocated flares and built him a front bumper. All is left is to bend up a stinger and paint.

They were only 1/2 in in that pic, I burnt up my drill and couldn't finish with a 3/4 bit. Here's a pic of it done and with the right size shackle hole's.

I used carriage bolts in this one but you can use regular bolts and lock washers. I found a couple write-ups you can check out. Do not cut any higher in the back than this write-up say's, Your splitting in between the pinch welds so the unibody doesn't separate. In the front it's just a fender so not as critical, Just use the left front on the right and vice versa. It keeps you from having a hole in the back where the body line is.

Here's a couple pics tactical..I've got a couple hundred in metal, wire .095 tubing ect. It is easy to build and light. the runners are 1/4 in steel and the rest is 3/16th, I've had one like this on my jeep for 2 years of heavy wheeling and it's held up great.
