I've got a 1995 Jeep Cherokee, 306k miles on everything but suspension & engine and accessories. It has a spectra single core in it now. I had no over heating issues until now with 106 degrees in southern utah. I have shrouds, new clutch fan (does engage), new water pump does move water. Driving highway in the mornings a/c on ambient temp is 85+ the vehicle stays at 210 constantly. Highway driving in the afternoon 102+ degrees the jeep hovers into 225-235 and doesn't move from there witht he ac off and the electric fan on. If I turn the a/c on its catastrophic. I am thinking about buying a 2 core CSF all metal radiator. Thoughts?

Assure your thermostat is fully opening, assure the electric fan turns on when it is hot AND when the AC is turned on.
A single row radiator is not the best for cooling. Me and my jeep buddy both have the all copper, brass three row radiator, we both ran cooler, no over heating in severe climate and hard wheeling see link..

I also, installed some time ago a grand cherokee fan clutch, it supposedly kicks in sooner, but it is longer than stock so it is a tight fit
we also added a manual switch to turn on the electic fan early
But the biggest improvement is that copper, brass three row radiator.
one other thing I done is add foam from sliced up plumbers pipe insulation to the radiator sides to better seal to the front of the body, thus assuring ram air that goes through the grill also goes through the radiator rather than some leaking past around the sides of the radiator
I also, have a large radiator cooler infront of the engine radiator, that made a big life extending cooling improvement on my auto tranny. and I have added a power steering cooler there too.
Our jeeps stay very cool now.
dont settle for the 2 row when you can fit a 3 row., a single row is very wimpy. the all copper and brass is very good, but go for the three row given you drive in hot weather.
but first confirm your thermostat ia indeed fully opening. this can be done in a pot of water on your stove
also make sure your fan , pump belt is not slipping

So thermostat does work correctly as the temperature doesn't rise when its between 80/90 ambient air. My electric fan lives on a manual toggle and it's always on when the ac is on or im off-roading.
There are tons of back and forth on the 3 row vs 2 row because it comes down to tube diameter and how much coolant actually flows through it.
I've heard a lot about he radiator needing to be sealed around the edges and I will probably also be doing that soon.
