Brake pads to calipers
Fred theres one or two years jeep used two different calipers that use different size pads.I believe you got the akebono ones but take a look for yourself http://www.nagca.com/forum/showthread.php?t=36861

You could have either the Teves or Akebono calipers. The Teves are much larger physically than the Akebono. You can find pictures of them on this forum or elsewhere on the net.

Yes, those are Akebono. Teves have a spring clip stabilizing the caliper and Akebono have extended brackets that are much more efficient. I have the Teves and as soon as I need new calipers, I'm switching over.
