didn't start off as a daily driver (as i wasn't sure on it's reliability to go long distances when i first bought it), but after rebuilding most of the rotating / wearing parts i drive it daily now (plus i like the looks people give me when i'm in it vs when i'm drivin the fj, & the thumbs up!)

so earlier in the week i ended up replacing the valve cover and also did the oilpan gasket & rear main seal while i was gettin oily. everything went fairly smooth, just got messy

Got some bad news though, made it up to Llano for the Texas Spur, did great the first half of the day, then busted something having to do with the rear output on the np242 as now I can only drive the Jeep in part time......was able to limp back to camp with front wheel drive. I'll have to take it apart once I get back to Houston.
