Some Turn here, a little Wedge there, bigger fuel line to hold an extra gallon of fuel, rubbin's racin', shave a half inch and shape it like a bullet...I went to the Robert Duvall school of racing.

Its a lot of fun, plus it keeps the cost down when compared to late models/super late models with bump stops, more motor, etc.

Less cost = a bigger field and more guys out there racing. The late models only run around 1 second faster lap times around this track, which isn't a whole heck of a lot when you consider they are nearly twice the price.

Was hoping that was the long arm kit. But I read the thread in the vendor section. Sounds like you got more time to wait. Sucks. At least you have other things to keep you busy.

*had.... other things to keep me busy.

One piece of my bumper kit is missing. The portion that bolts to the frame, I got most of the components bent, but I need that piece in order to mock everything up and tack it.

Ill give them a call tomorrow, I don't see it being an issue to have one sent out.

Hows things going with your jeep? any big plans coming up? you've gotten a lot done in a relatively short amount of time.

Hopefully it goes smooth and you get the missing parts fast. I know you can weld so its going to fly together once you have everything.

Things are going good with my Jeep. Pretty much done with phase 1. Just need to put the front truetrac in. Then I get to enjoy driving it and taking it on new adventures until phase 2 begins. Phase 2 will be something like the yours after its back together.

Called dirtbound this morning, the gentleman I talked to was extremely helpful and polite, going to get the missing bracket shipped out to me ASAP.

I have Dirtbounds DIY front and rear bumpers along with their front and rear fender flares. Every order I received was missing something. They were pretty fast to get me the missing items but with 3 orders each missing something and basically no help with the how to install the fender flares that are not bent to the body shape. I have lost faith in them. I have had problems with their rear bumper so I recentley purchased the Ironrock DIY rear bumper and it came with everything as it should and I think it is a better design. Just my thoughts and experiences.

Hmm good to know, I appreciate the input.

Im going to fab up my own rear bumper so I guess if I wind up missing anything there I can only blame myself.

I'll update once I get the missing piece in hand, so far their customer service has been good.

I dont recall his name, I got a tracking number about an hour after I talked to him. Part should arrive friday/saturday.

A+ customer service in my opinion. Was a bummer that it was missing in the first place, but he made it right, and quickly.

**** happens, it's how you deal with it when it does that matters.
