I've used quite a few of the hammered paints. Just made this boot rack for my mom for Christmas actually. She's shown/bred horses forever. Took a bunch of her old horse shoes and made this, finished it in the bronze hammered finish.
So cool man! Been wanting to make one of these for so long but haven't quite come up with enough shoes yet. Got anymore you'd be willing to throw in a flat rate box if I threw ya some money?

I'll see what I can come up with, otherwise you can get them for pretty cheap from places like tractor supply or feed/tack stores.
I actually need to see if I have some for Basslicks too, he had asked me about them.
One more teaser, rear needs to settle about an inch, but the front is still up on jackstands. I'm sure once I get all the jeep's weight fully on the suspension it should be just about perfect.
Very nice, I have that setup too but I am using the stock shackles trying to keep the lift height down to about 5 inches on 35's. Make sure you dont torque the spring bolts and shackle bolts till it is sitting on its own weight.
This is what consumes most of my time outside of the jeep. Just finished up the car, final practice was this weekend before the season starts on April 1st. The car came out great in my opinion. Put down some really good laps yesterday and scrubbed in some new tires. Going to be a great season.
Here's the other two cars were running, all part of the same team. These two still need to get the vinyl finished. They are naked for practice.

Thanks.
They are still loose, nothing is getting torqued until the front suspension is all done and it's fully on its own weight.
Race Cars? Very cool. Very all-around automotive love. You'll have to give us more updates as things progress on them/the season.
Care to share any details? Are they all "the same?" Engine/suspension/etc. setup? Do you race all three at once, or is at least one a backup? Are they in different classes? My ADD is getting overloaded...

All the same class (super stocks), they have to all use the same sealed chevy crate motors with a richmond 2 speed trans.
Engine specs
350 HP @ 5000 RPM, 390 ft. lbs. of torque @ 3800 RPM
Bore x Stroke: 4.00” x 3.48”
Compression Ratio: 9.1:1
92 Octane
Cast Iron, 4-bolt main caps
Cam Lift: .435” Intake / .460” exhaust
Cam Duration @ .050”: 212 deg. Intake / 222 deg. Exhaust
Lobe Separation: 112.5 Degree
1.94” Intake/ 1.50” Exhaust valves
Stamped steel, 1.5:1 ratio rocker arms
Engine weighs 434 lbs. as delivered
The suspension setups on all 3 are similar, definitely not identical, all 3 cars have different drivers for this season. A-arms up front, leafs with sliders in the rear.
Heres the rules and a lot of the specs if youre interested.

No hurry man. I've got plenty to keep me busy.

Nice! I'm surprised at the 9.1:1 compression ratio though. I would've thought it would be a little higher... though 9.1:1 will make it live longer, that's for sure.

Interesting.
They are pretty mild in terms of a crate motor, makes for a pretty level playing field and really good racing though. Suspension setup and tires play a big part as well as driver skill obviously.
We won the track championship last year, 10 race season and 4 individual race wins, worst finish was 4th.

That's awesome. I could really get into something like that. I forgot that you said it's the stock class.... makes sense about the motor and tranny spec now. That's good though 'cause it MAKES you really dial the car in.
