I love beating mine on the rocks. My 2x6s haven't budged with all the stiffening and support, but I did break a weld off each side of the DOM side tubing this last trip to RC. We did weld the side tubes with a weaker welder than we've used on most projects (first welder vs the upgrade). I'm also rear stiffened with shock towers and had nothing but great results.

Haha come up here! My buddy/fellow Jeeper did the big welds, I stick to the plug welds and sheet metal work.

I want to make sure I do this right.
The supports go from the 'frame' rail out to the new 2x6 sliders, correct?
What are the frame stiffeners and where do they go?

New battery tray, my brother got it for me for Christmas

Can't post the picture for some reason, but I can upload it to my CF gallery... odd.
Anyway- the zip-tie is just there as something to help lift the battery... Interstate didn't think they needed a handle on theirs.

Yes on the supports. Frame stiffeners are from HD Offroad and they go over the uniframe rails to stiffen it all up.

So... back in May an idiot pulled out of a driveway a few feet in front of me, and I had all kinds of fun with insurance these last few months- after slowly going insane for about half a year- I got Cass back last week. So stuff is happening again. Soon...

Forgot to post up, got the front bumper on awhile back... broke every mounting bolt for my steering gearbox in the process. That was a bundle of fun.

Plus today I tucked away the horns.
