Default 1999 Cherokee Sport in Mass Build Thread

Whats up guys, I'm proud to be the new owner of a 99 xj thats in pretty decent condition. It has a lot of miles, 252K, but it runs great on and off the highway. I've already made a few changes to it but here it is the way I got it. As I go along I'll update with photos and notes. I'm always happy to get feedback, positive or negative, and any recommendations about mods/maintenance.

Thanks for checking out my Cherokee!
-Chris

Just a little cosmetic change to make the front end look a little nicer

Made a few more cosmetic changes, changed the oil and for 253K the oil was pretty clean. Checked all the fluids and things are looking pretty solid. Took advantage of the good weather and took the Jeep up to Vermont for some camping, and a little scenic trip on the way back to Mass through NH. This 4.0 train just keeps going and going

Next will be to remove the rust from the bottom of the doors and paint the bottom black all around. Then cut off the bottoms of the rear panels that are rusty and try to find a way to keep the stock bumper covers on (I like them). Then if I have time before it gets too cold I'll be removing the windshield to redo the corners on the roof before the windshield leaks anymore. I'd like to have a warm winter inside the Jeep, no leaks!
