I was looking for seats but all were in bad shape!

Anyone have a good source for new or better replacements?

Thanks just thought it would be neat to show the selection here on the panhandle of Florida!

For seats you can check that junkyard for ones out of a WJ. You will just need to swap over your mounting brackets.

Honestly, the first thing I noticed was how clean the area around the cars is. My local junkyard is absolutely filthy compared to those photos. Broken glass, parts thrown all over the place, and weeds thigh high. Wish I lived in Florida.

So jealous as I live in Buffalo NY & everything has more rust than steel....

try Craigslist for some WJ seats out of a WJ that is being parted out.

I missed a full black leather interior by a couple house for $200.

I would say that most of the XJs probably were not blown, but then I didn't try to crank one... Two of them didn't have engines but did have trannys. Three of seven were 4x4, with all running gear. Block to rims!

The comment about clean...each row is removed after a few months or so; when the entire row is picked out. They scrape the row with a frontend loader and replace the row with a new set of vehicles. Usually 12-15 vehicles. They prop them up with the rim stands and all vehicles in that row are around the same date of bring put in the yard. That row that has the 98 and 95...both had yard dates around 4/15-4/30...the rest of the row was too! The SUV and mini truck/ van rows the earliest date I saw was 1/1-1/15. That Jan row will probably be gone by June. Just depends how fast it gets fully picked over.

a general question from a noob: do these junkyards site bio-hazard vehicles?
the one's that have been salvaged due to presence of bio-material in the car (usually blood or vomit)?
