Default Old Jeep, newer Jeep wheels

I have an 88 XJ. I’m changing the wheels from the originals to the Jeep rubicon wheels. I need to know the lug pattern. I think the original wheels are 5x4.5 and the rubicon wheels are 5x5 but I’m not sure. I’m hoping all I’m gonna need is that extra 1.25 inch. I would love to know for sure what it is so I don’t order the wrong adapters. Please respond ASAP!!!

You need adapters, those wheels are 5x5 and an XJ has a 5x4.5 bolt pattern.
